The British Council for Offices is working with the Government Property Unit on the Government Hubs Programme. This is a very significant project which offers the opportunity to learn a lot and to share this knowledge with the members of the BCO and wider audiences.
The Government estate comprises around 8.6 million square metres and offices make up about half of this space. The Civil Service employs around 400,000 full time equivalent (FTE) staff in a number of locations. The rationalisation programme will create multi-departmental hubs in 18-20 strategic locations across the country and will affect up to 270,000 people.Read full article >
